This Bharatanatyam course offers structured and traditional training in one of India’s oldest classical dance forms. The program is designed to build a strong foundation in adavus (basic steps), posture, rhythm (tala), expressions (abhinaya), and theory, following the classical principles of Bharatanatyam. Students will gradually progress from basic techniques to choreographed items, gaining an understanding of nritta, nritya, and abhinaya. Emphasis is placed on body alignment, hand gestures (mudras), facial expressions, and rhythmic precision, ensuring both technical accuracy and expressive depth.
